A Quiet Sunday...

Bar my Cadbury's Creme Egg talk it has been a quiet day. Thanks to ''Bobby'' for showing willing. Next Sunday, he has two eggs to bet. I'm quite excited by the thought of popping to the corner shop and saying: ''Can I have a paper, bottle of milk and 4,000 creme eggs, please.'' Yes, my winner has two eggs: a win /each way single and a straight accumulator. You may be thinking I don't want him to win. However, you couldn't be further from the truth.I am willing a win. What a story that would make. I would have that submitted to the Sun before you could say page three Flake girl.


It has been slow going finding new subscribers to HCE Gold. I know many of you will think this is the wrong time to join because the Flat season has yet to start and the two-year-olds can be slow to gather momentum. To my way of thinking, it makes sense to be prepared. You may not believe me, but it makes little difference to me whether we have one subscriber or one thousand. I am all about honesty, and I think we have 15 recruits so far. I am pleased with our loyal supporters. Each is important and I know for a fact they will be impressed. Always a good read.

I was struck by the 7:1 ratio being bandied about for The Sultan's Centre Court Trading after featuring on your blog. Well, I am sure you can understand why I have responded.

I'm normally altruistic! But if the tap can be turned to enjoy an increased flow of traffic I'm ready to fill my boots! In addition, I changed my profile picture to a couple of cheeky girls :-) because I feel they are likely to be viewed with far more interest than my ugly mug. I can't wait for a surge of traffic.

On a serious note, keep up the good work and well done to all those who make our blogging community a brighter read.

1st April. Can only mean one thing - we're looking for a miracle! Well, perhaps, but that's the nature of the beast with The Community Chest. Ru'oud looks the main reason for Frankie Dettori going to Thirsk today. In a moderate race, this colt by Pivotal should go close. 2nd

An exciting race with a number of potentially talented juveniles racing in this maiden over 7f on soft ground. The key players could be Tanjung Agas, Utley and Deny. With a field of debutantes it will be fascinating to see how these two-year-olds fare. If I had to make one selection it would be Michael Jarvis' Tanjung Agas (each-way). But more of a watching brief today. There will be plenty of winners come from this race. Unp
