Tuesday's Racing Tips: Darlectable You (1st December)

Not too much going on today but a couple of horses worth noting.

2:40 Newcastle -

It's an interesting fact that certain horse owners just don't have bad horses and that is very much the case for Lord Lloyd Webber. Added to this point, Darlectable You, is a very well-bred filly the daughter of Group-winning Dar Re Mei, who was an excellent talent running seventeen times in her four-season career, achieving successes at the highest level and total earning of £2,698,880. This globe trotter made her presence felt wherever she traveled. An exceptional horses who has been the dam of rare talents such as Too Darn Hot, So Mi Dar & Lah Ti Dar.

Darlectable You is sires by Dubawi and you can safely say if this bay filly went through the sales she would have fetched near the million mark.

John Gosden trains this exiting prospect who is fancied in the betting.

If starting 6/4 and less SP I'd except this April foal to win. If a touch weak in the betting, I'd still expect a bold show.

It looks a fair race and a number of leading trainers are out to do their best and it makes for an interesting race over 1m 2f.

3:10 Newcastle -

I've got one horse I'm looking at here but betting or not on this son of Australia is dependent on the market. Hugo Palmer has been in rare form all season and I am always interested in his two-year-old on their second start as they are often primed to win. Oz Legend was nibbled in the market on debut at Kempton over one mile and after almost a month on the sidelines should make a positive return.

If priced 13/2 and less sp I'd expect this horse to run a big race and hold fair each-way claims. If outside this betting guide, I would have to give this one a miss. Very few of the stables juveniles win over 10/1 on their second start. If weak in the betting it could well be a negative.

It's difficult to know and you either take a punt and hope it's backed or wait until nearer the off.

Good look to connections.
