1.30 Southwell - there are two horses that can lead if there's no early pace: Sir Geoffrey and Guishan. I don't think they will need to set the pace in this race as Cadeaux Pearl is a natural front runner. Back down to 5f and now running off its lowest handicap mark, it will probably go to the front and stay there. At odds of 10/1 it's worth an each way wager. 2.00 Southwell - Upper Lambourn is top rated but this race is very hard to evaluate as there's no known front runner in the field. To be honest, none of them are very consistent so I would leave the race alone. However, if you do have a bet keep it to the minimum. 7.20 Kempton - with only six runners and the only known front runner Foxtrot Jubilee, I'm hoping Gabrial's Gift can sit just behind the leader and hold a decent position. This is its third run back after a break and the last two runs have been at Southwell. This course will suit him much better. I would like to back each way at 8/1 but with only two places it might not be the value bet.
