A maiden for colts and one filly over this quick 5f.
This looks an ideal opportunity for Remotelinx to win after showing very good form behind Approve who was victorious in the Norfolk Stakes (Group 2) at Royal Ascot. Hills' youngster is unlikely to be near that class but this attractive bay colt by Oasis Dream is certainly a talented juvenile. The Sandown race went wrong from start to finish and Remotelinx would by all accounts gone very close that day if not a stylish winner. The fourth at Salisbury, Diamond Charlie, has run well since and capable of winning a maiden so the form lines bode well for a mighty effort today. It would be disappointing if this juvenile doesn't win.
Of the rest, Zarazar has experience although its second to Little Lion Man is difficult to assess. Loki's Revenge, 3rd that day, has run well since but may have improved for the debut. I would be surprised if Evans two-year-old has the ability of the favourite.
Pearl Storm is one of the more likelier debutantes although Haggis doesn't have the best strike rate with juveniles making their racecourse bow.
Marco Botti runs Acclamazing and his juveniles have good place claims when fancied in the betting but is another who struggles to win on debut.
