7:00 Windsor (15th June)

A maiden over 5f featuring colts and one filly.

On the face of it this doesn't look the most competitive race. Footstepsofspring is a strong colt and done little wrong on his last two efforts. He will make the most of valued experience and will take some beating.

Belinsky is an interesting runner for Simon Callaghan, an expensive colt by Compton Place costing 160,000 guineas. Callaghan has entered this juvenile at Newmarket, which is an encouraging sign for the trainer who often sends his better two-year-olds there. Well owned, well bred, this runner would be all the more likely if backed to win.

Glass Of Red has been entered to run on many occasions and always withdrawn because of the fast ground. This filly has been entered for a stakes race and Beckett has good place statistics on debut, however, she may be withdrawn once more if fast ground has been an issue.

Footstepsofspring will take some beating. Callaghan doesn't have a very good win rate on debut but this juvenile is worth noting for the future.

A watching race.

Race review: 'This looked a good chance for Footstepsofspring and a win came after quite a battle with Nepotism who improved markedly on previous form. Belinsky is a good-looking sort and has potential to progress with racing. He was given quite an easy debut.'
