6:50 Folkestone (2nd June)

Quite an interesting maiden fillies' race over 6f.

Exotic Beauty ran well enough on debut in a decent contest won by Above Limits. Quite an attractive filly, Channon's juveniles are much more likely to win on their second start and she must be on the short list.

The form of Two Kisses race has been boosted and although probably not the best juvenile she could have a fighting chance here as she wasn't hard pressed last time when it was clear she couldn't win.

Guess Work is certainly worthy of respect after running in a stakes race on debut and entered for the Hilary Needler. I can see this filly running a better race today.

Mudaaraah is well owned and from a talented yard. Their newcomers can often be rather hit and miss. The betting will give a good guide to her performance.

An interesting race.

A watching race.

Race review:'John Dunlop must be all smiles this season with two of his three debutantes winning. Mudaaraah ran a very good race: held-up and made a winning challenge, being pushed out in the final furlong. Exotic Beauty ran in a pretty competitive race at Sandown and Channon is always a difficult trainer to beat on second start. This filly didn't do much wrong apart from meeting a better horse on the day. Lady Pattern reversed the form with Ice Cool Lady and this was a fair run for the D'Arcy stable. The rest have something to prove after this.'
