3:10 Wolverhampton (13th January) Free Horse Racing Tips

Speedyfix looks as though it really would appreciate another furlong. Volcanic Dust should either lead or at least track the leaders. However, I don't think it can go fast enough to either burn off the others or get many outpaced, so I doubt if it can win the race. Daneglow slow time over course and distance usually tracks the leaders but I don't think he will be good enough. Marmot Bay will either try to lead or track the leaders. His time over course and distance doesn't inspire me to think he can win. Robyn has only produced slow times over course and distance. This one could try any tactics for the race so not sure what it will do but I'm doubtful. Rightcar is quite capable of winning a race but maybe not over this distance: he needs a sixth furlong but will track the leaders. Chateau Lola has the third fastest time on my ratings and at course and distance must have a chance racing prominently. Ishetoo has got the top rating but that is over the course but at 6f. It's never won on the all weather so I doubt if it will break its duck today.

Conclusion: Originally I thought this race was difficult to find a winner but I now think it's realistically down to two horses - both available at odds of 10/1. I expect the early pace to come from Volcanic Dust, Marmot Bay or Robyn. I don't think any of these will hold on. If they go a very fast gallop it could set it up for the finishing Speedyfix who even though looks like it would be happier over 6f has the fastest time over course and distance and the other hopeful would be Chateau Lola, who might be able to sit just behind the leaders and also have a chance.
