5:35 Wolverhampton (4th November) Horse Racing Tips/Result

A restricted Median Auction Maiden Stakes over 5f 20y. Another poor race. Bryan Smart's juveniles remain in good form and Code Six, although limited, showed a determined attitude when failing by a neck at Nottingham. Make no mistake that was a lowly affair but in such a restricted race this daughter of Kodiac has fair win and place claims. Colbyor was fancied on debut but didn't show any ability. However, much better was seen at Catterick when second to Idler at 6f. Hanagan has one hand on the Jockeys' Championship trophy and he will be fighting for every win. A leading chance. Red Socks makes her return after a long spell on the sidelines. Kelleway's filly has shown patches of form but clearly has limitations.

Conclusion: A pretty uninspiring race which is difficult to enthuse. Code Six has her limitations but has fair win and place claims if price allows.

HCE: ''A bold front-running display from Code Six who held the advantage over Colbyor who rallied at the finish. The First two a couple of lengths clear of Betty Brook.''
