Paul Cole Blog Update

It was nice to see Pinch of Posh win at Newmarket especially as the owners Melba and Colin Bryce are keen breeders; she has a very good pedigree. 40-1 was a good price as she has won 2 races previously and was unsuited by the track and ground at Leicester.

Spring Buck was given no chance at Kempton by an unsympathetic starter, he was upset by others behaving badly and should have been given another shot.

We have been delighted with the progress Strategic Prince has been making with his first stock cumulating with a group one winner on Sunday.

We are continuing with a run of poor draws, Circumvent and Flashbang are prime examples these would have been a lot closer with good draws.

Rimith is in great form with an entry in Deauville in the Pre de Meautry later in the month. Three year old fillies are not easy to place but The Hungerford stakes and a listed at Pontefract are also options.

Swindy is well and expected to run a good race at Kempton.

Clianthus is going well and runs at Salisbury.

Gifted Girl is back in exercise after her impressive win at Goodwood, she is well handicapped at 82.

Humugosaur is a nice strong horse set to run at Newbury. We were pleased with his run at Ascot.

Overpowered has been rested after his Newmarket win and has just gone back into work.

Silverheels has an array of entries the Pre Morny, the Gimcrack, the Mill Reef and the Pre Francois Boutin. He missed the break and was squeezed back at Goodwood on what would have been closer. He is sound and genuine.

Swingland ran well at Goodwood, she was pushed wide all the way and looked like winning soon.

Ziefhd, we like and runs at Newbury on Saturday.
