A tricky little nursery with Crimson Cloud, Flash City and Monsieur Jamie all showing ability of late. It may be the case Flash City found a weak race last time - even though in many ways that looked quite a strong contest on paper. A strong gelding, he seemed to enjoy this surface last time and should run his race but may be priced on the short side. Crimson Cloud is quite a speedy filly which is a plus when racing at Southwell, where holding a favourable position counts for a lot. The Fahey team are in cracking form and at the prices this daughter of Kyllachy is probably the most likely to run a race although it would be a tentative selection. Monsieur Jamie is another speedy type and gets in this race on a handy mark for a colt and is a course and distance winner. Jenkin's two-year-old may have won a poor race last time but he done it in fair style. Not really a betting race, however, if pressed I would rather back Crimson Cloud or Monsieur Jamie at a price than Flash City at favourite.
