2:10 Pontefract

A maiden fillies' race over 6f on this turning course.

The betting suggests this is a two-horse race.

Mama Lulu was very warm order to take her debut starting at 6/4 favourite. This daughter of Kingmando travelled well and looked the winner but inexperience cost her dear that day and this drop back to 6f will probably help. To be bid up to $575,000 and not to be sold clearly shows this is a potentially useful filly and being a half-sister to Fasliyev catches the eye. Connections must have be disappointed not winning on debut and this youngster will take all the beating here.

Another juvenile to cost a fortune is Zabeel Park. This daughter of Medicean cost 500,000gns and is a half-sister to the dual guineas winner Finsceal Beo. On form, this youngster didn't attain that much on debut and could improve for the run. Many of Saeed Bin Suroor's juveniles improve with racing but this expensive buy will need to step up a good deal on her first start.

Of the rest, Royal Hush was fancied on debut but failed to show much ability but may be capable of better. The betting will be a good indicator to Ryan's chances. It is a plus that his two-year-olds are in flying form.

Princess Izzy would be a live chance if backed.
