2:10 Hamilton (4th June)

Rock Of Love looked to have transformed for the step up to 6f at Yarmouth. His second to Izaaj was a very good performance and if he runs to that level must take all the beating here.

Whispered Times is a lovely-looking two-year-old and could well improve for the 6f. Haslam's runner was given a nice introduction at Doncaster and although that form isn't to the level set by Rock Of Love this extra furlong and experience will certainly help.

Sands Of Dee was a relatively short price on debut but never got into the race. Fahey has done very well this season and they clearly expected a better run and probably why they resorted to the visor. It wouldn't be a surprise to see this colt run a better race but he needs to improve on that debut to threaten here.

Of the rest, Durham reflection didn't achieve a great deal on debut although Howard Johnson's two-year-olds can often improve and he has fair statistics on his second start, especially at bigger odds.

Rock Of Love will run a big race.

A watching race.

Race review: 'Rock Of Love went off a short price and put in a seemingly disappointing effort. In truth, I think Johnston's juvenile ran its race and the Yarmouth performance was clearly not what it seemed - an improved run. I would be very careful about backing this juvenile after this. Whispered Times won this with a bit in hand, but I think it turned out a pretty average race. Magic Footsteps ran on, and is a nice-looking horse, but I would be careful with this juvenile.'
