2:00 Salisibury (28th June)

A maiden over the extended 6f(212y).

A pity to see State Fair being withdrawn from this race as this looked an interesting match between Cole's juvenile and Lord Zenith.

Lord Zenith is a big colt with a lot of scope for improvement. He was off the pace at Newbury before running on well looking as though this extra distance would help. Balding has a good success rate with his juveniles on their second start and this two-year-old will take some stopping today.

Beckett and Sanders is always a good combination and Kensei has been quoted as a decent type. It will be difficult to beat Balding's juvenile on debut although Beckett has good place statistics with all his two-year-olds on their racecourse bow.

This looks a prime opportunity for Lord Zenith.

A watching race.

Race review: 'An easy win for Lord Zenith who could go on to a higher level after this victory. Kensei was the only one in opposition to put down a challenge but that didn't last for long, and lost second place to Cafe Greco.'
