A small field for this novice stakes race over 5f.
Nadeen and Footstepsofspring are probably the choice picks on form and the former trained by Mick Channon ran very well on debut to beat Little Perisher, who has gone on to prove a talented juvenile. Footstepsofspring is a good-looking colt and ran markedly better on his second start.
Antonius Moris done well to win on debut but that wasn't the best of races and stepping back a furlong may be a plus or minus. It is no easy task to win first time out so it isn't beyond the realms this colt could run well but has something to prove in ways.
This looks to be a three-horse race and Nadeen has the potential to be a decent colt but have to give weight away in the process.
A watching race.
Race review: 'A shock 50/1 winner in Navajo Chief for Alan Jarvis. It may be the case that Jarvis' runner had been training with Little Perisher who just lost out to Nadeen when Channon colt won on debut. There was little between the first three and all had a fighting chance. Antonius Moris was slightly short of room in the final furlong and may have done a touch better.'
