6:00 Salisbury (21st May)

A poor-looking maiden over 5f.

Many of the form horses haven't shown much ability and with a number of unraced juveniles from unfashionable stables this race is difficult to assess.

Of the form horses, Radio City and Sir Parky are most interesting as jockey bookings and being relatively short prices on debut may indicate greater hope today. Beckett's, Radio City, ran in a bizarre race at Kempton, which seemed to turn into a two furlong sprint. It is additionally significant that this colt has been given a stakes race entry but needs to improve.

Sir Parky, again, achieved little on debut at Haydock after a slow start. His starting price of 5/1 would suggest that more was expected and you certainly wouldn't say this isn't possible especially dropping to 5f.

Potentially this looks a poor race and most don't give much encouragement.

A watching race.

Race review: 'Bar the winner, this had the look of a modest race. Sir Parky didn't register on debut but today was a different story and this colt has scope to improve with racing. Tucker's Law transformed from his Bath debut and ran on well to the line suggesting a step up to six furlongs would suit. Radio City showed speed for our furlongs but faded and was rather disappointing. Pleased to see The Shuffler winning some prize money in fourth. This race didn't take much winning.'
