2:50 Salisbury (3rd May)

In many ways this looks a poor conditional stakes race. The form horses have shown an element of ability and the unraced will have their work cut out giving away experience on debut. Richard Hannon had six juveniles entered to run in this race at the five-day declarations with Dobbs booked to ride Kings Of Leo (who ran at Windsor 27th April) but now takes the ride on White Daffodil. An open looking race it will be interesting to see who prevails. It is worth giving a word to Mrs Boss simply because she had a very slow start at Haydock before running on quite well at the finish, although still a long way from winning. Not the easiest of races to conclude.

A watching race.

Race review: 'An open contest with interest for a couple of juveniles making their debuts. Leleyf made it two from two with a gutsy display, holding the late charge of Kurtanella. Hannon's filly took a while to appreciate what she was meant to be doing and was a shade unfortunate not to have won. Mrs Boss improved a good deal and for much of the way had as good chance as any of winning. This filly by Makbul has an element of ability and quite a battling attitude. Peter Winkworth's Lutine Lady was very well backed and probably capable of better.'
