3:15 Kempton Racing Tips (18th August) BRITISH STALLION STUDS EBF MAIDEN STAKES (Plus 10 Race) (CLASS 4) (2yo)

An EBF Maiden Stakes over 1 mile. Not much time to write a great deal. Unless money come for one of the outsiders this looks a four-horse race. Du Moto is likely to improve for his debut run. Sir Michael Stoute's two-year-olds have good win and place claims on their second start although quite often they seem under priced. Saeed Bin Suroor is a class trainer and his fancied juveniles have excellent claims at this course. Pure Diamond is related to some very expensive siblings and one of just two fillies taking on the boys. On stats the horse to beat. Kasseopia is trained by charlie Fellows who does well with his horses and knows the score. This son of Showcasing was a 40,000GNS Breeze-up purchase and backed on debut. I can imagine connection were a little disappointed with that start. A slow start didn't help. It wouldn't have gone unnoticed that this chestnut colt holds a Champagne Stakes (Group 2) entry. It will be interesting to see if he is supported here or at least fancied in the betting. It would give added confidence. Spanish Boy is trained by Richard Hannon and the last of the quartet who deserve respect.

Conclusion: Du Moto has fair each way claims although I would take a watching brief if short priced. Pure Diamond is the horse to beat. Kasseopia would be worth an each way bet if priced 13/2 & less.   1st & 2nd
