A Claiming Stakes race over a mile. Danzig's Grandchild ran well on a number of occasions on the turf and by all accounts would look to have an outstanding chance at this grade. With being off course for over 120 days, and being bought by her trainer at the sales, and stepping up to a mile for the first time are all factors that bring about uncertainty at some level. Probably a watching brief. I can see this daughter of Anabaa either winning with ease or failing miserably. On previous form, a capable two-year-old who is very well off in the weights with apprentice Ryan Powell taking the mount.
