Friday's Thoughts

2:10 Haydock

Not really a betting proposition on soft ground, but Lady Paris ran well on debut in what looked to be a competitive race and could well progress from that initial effort. Smart's two-year-old is the most interesting candidate in this field.

3:20 Haydock

No Poppy is a consistent filly with plenty of size and scope - the type to enjoy these soft conditions. A competitive heat and many of these will struggle on these adverse conditions and Easterby's two-year-old has place claims.

Today's races:
2:00 Ascot
2:10 Haydock
2:45 Haydock
3:20 Haydock
7:45 Wolverhampton
8:15 Wolverhampton

Hi Anthony,

Yes, they both ran decent races. Interesting to see how Frankel goes in the Royal Lodge Stakes (Group 2)tomorrow 2:30 Ascot. A talented two-year-old.
