Bounty Girl may have been a speculative price on debut when running at this course but she showed promise. This daughter of Bushranger was set a pretty stiff challenge when starting over 5f, especially racing from wide draw, away from the pace, down the stands' rail. The winner is competing at Royal Ascot's Norfolk Stakes (Group 2). Those in behind are capable of winning at maiden class, which speaks well for Tim Easterby's bay filly who gave the impression she would be wiser for that first start. This step up in distance will be to her advantage, although she was ridden as if mostly fit on her racecourse bow. If drifting to an each way price, this January foal has sound place claims.
