Jockey TV: Campbell Gillies Remembered

A behind the scenes take on the life of a jockey

Jockey tv - will seek to travel around the UK visiting, racecourses, yards & Eventing meets  We'll seek to capture the essence of what being involved in equine sport is all about. Not just race riding for jockeys, or riding for eventers, but also finding out what make these intrepid folk tick. Plus, learning about their other passions and talents outside of their chosen sport.
We'll offer a weekly filmed I-Player Online tv portal. With contributions from the likes of Olympian, Tina Cook. You can view Tina chatting to Camilla Henderson, on our October show. Just go to JTV SHOWS to view any show you might have missed.
The JTV team, will include, experienced presenter, Hanna Kirkpatrick, who also works for Sky Sports.  Plus, Camilla Henderson, daughter of successful trainer, Nicky Henderson. Camilla, recently appeared on Talk Sport radio, chatting about JTV. She also wrote a fascinating piece on the perception of racing, in the Huffington Post.
There'll also be fashion elements, and some poetic equine verse from the talented Henry Birtles.   We'll also seek to support and promote the great work of organisations such as Oaksey House, The Injured Jockeys, The House That Jack Built, Kidney Research UK, JETS and Racing Welfare.

JTV popped into the Richard Phillips' yard, to speak to assistant trainer, Catriona Bissett, on Friday last week. Camilla Henderson, spoke to Catch, about the Campbell Gillies' Memorial Ball, she's organising this June. All proceeds will go to the Injured Jockeys Fund, who have supported Campbell's family since their tragic loss. Please take a look at their website to watch Jockey TV: Campbell Gillies Remembered.
