Boost for shops as SIS extends French racing coverage

SIS is increasing the amount of horse racing from France it shows in betting shops following an extended agreement with Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) beginning on February 1.

The new agreement will see additional coverage of French racing in services to UK and Irish LBO customers for the next few years.

George Irvine, Managing Director, SIS Betting, said: "French racing has become increasingly popular with our customers so it made sense to not only extend the agreement but increase the number of meetings we will be broadcasting into the betting shops.''

The French schedule has become more varied with the addition of all-weather racing from Chantilly and meetings taking place at different times of day.

Paul Ritchie, Betting Data Controller, SIS Betting, added: “That means our services can accommodate more coverage at times when the exposure will be greater and I’m confident the value to our customers will increase.

“The quality of Sunday flat racing during the summer is exceptional and backed up with reliable winter all-weather and NH fixtures it fits really well with our other overseas content.

“We look forward to many more successful years in our partnership with PMU, and our colleagues in France.”
