7:10 Wolverhampton (25th November) Horse Racing Tips/Result

A 0-60 Nursery over 5f20y.

Mount Mcleod makes a quick appearance after running at Kempton last night in search of that elusive win. This 5f doesn't look ideal and she may be outpaced. On yesterday's performance, there is a fear she is regressing and best watched.

M J Woodward has shown ability but has taken time to get motoring when racing over 5f. The visor is no doubt applied in an attempt to ignite a sparkling start but a wide draw is never ideal around here. If able to sit handy may power home at the finish but a difficult horse to assess.

Sonsie Lass showed lots of speed last time to dispose of Mount Mcleod et al and even being raised 6lb may not hold her back. From a low draw, Dalgleish's youngster may have the speed to have most of these on the back foot. Dropping back to this minimum trip may blunt this speed and it could be dangerous to view her ability with regard to Mount Mcleod. In a poor race Sonsie Lass looks one for the short list.

Conclusion: Sonsie Lass would be a tentative selection.

HCE: ''These low class races are a law to themselves. Gin Twist was transformed by the first time blinkers and cruised round as if in a different league. Mount Mcleod ran better this evening than last and ran to the line while Monty Fay held third.''
