There is a lot of racing today but nothing much which catches the eye. Daneking ran well last time when beating Cherry Street at Goodwood on good to soft ground. That was over 1m 2f but with today's heavy ground this could be a slog where stamina is the key. John Gosden must feel this drop back in distance will not cause any problems and in fairness he travelled well last time. A fair each way bet.
HCE: ''A battle between Mr Spiggott and Grizzle, with the former prevailing by half a length. Daneking was rousted along early and then a little keen, which done him no favours. Gosden's youngster rallied at the finish but is better than this performance.''
