John Hills' Midas Touch shows no signs of tarnishing with the continued success of his two-year-olds and today's gutsy victory of B Fifty Two over odds on favourite Lilbourne Lad.
After a stylish win at Bath on his second start, he relished this 6f and answered Seb Sanders' urgings to find a little more as the favourite rallied near the line.
Hills said: ''I'm going to aim him towards Ascot and we will decide which race nearer the time. He has the speed for five furlongs but I think he's better at six.''
''He is a lovely horse who just does what he has to - no more. But if you give him a little dig then he finds.''
