A large field for this 0-80 nursery (pity about only 15 runners). A tough race to pick the winner and more of a watching brief although at a price Jolah may have an each-way chance. Clive Brittain has a good strike race at the course and we haven't seen the best of this filly by Oasis Dream. A better run last time at Epsom but still too keen. At odds of about 20/1 she has a chance if settling.

An open race for this 7f. Puttingonthestyle was fancied on debut but ran as though needing the race. The betting indicates a big run today although improvement will have to be on the cards to win. Above All had a stiff task on debut, running in a stakes race against two talented horses and wasn't pressed when any chance of winning had gone. This attractive colt by Nayef is likely to improve from that debut run and Haggis will be hoping for a professional performance. A difficult juvenile to assess in ways but it would be no surprise to see this two-year-old has ability. An each-way chance if fancied in the betting (13/2 & less). 2nd

Yojimbo ran well on debut at a big price and Channon's youngsters often improve for their debut and second time out is generally the day for theirs. Difficult to assess the form of that race so it may pay to be cautious at a relatively short price. Fennica is a beautifully bred two-year-old from the in-form Gosden stable. This daughter of Empire Maker - and half-sister to Observatory - has been entered to run in a Stakes race, which is a very positive sign for Gosden. It is never easy winning on debut or against a large field of mostly colts. However, this Abdulla-owned two-year-old is fancied in the betting and is likely to run a big race. Interesting to see how Mantoba fares today after a moderate run on debut, albeit against classy opposition. This colt has a string of Group entries and may be a capable of better.
