7:20 Lingfield (27th June)

Quite an interesting maiden over 5f.

This race has a couple of potentially decent juveniles here. Val C ran an encouraging race at Warwick especially considering there seemed to be a track bias that day which favoured the first and second. I think that was a fair effort and Littmoden's filly has ability and will run a big race over this quick 5f.

Tom Dascombe's newcomer, Where's the Soap, has been entered to run in two stakes race and this is a positive sign for this stable. Most of their two-year-olds are forward enough to do themselves justice although experience over this sharp track is something that must be considered.

Nepotism and Pintura have both shown elements of ability although I think Val C and Where's The Soap will be the best here. Val C gets the nod because she has the edge on experience.

A watching race.

Race review: 'Nepotism was well backed and won by half a length from the fast-finishing Point To Prove with Val C the same distance away in third. Difficult to know what this race amounted to as the second and fourth had not shown much ability on their starts. Where's The Soap didn't follow attain much on debut and will need to improve to merit stakes race entries.'
