A maiden over 5f on GD-SFT ground and a race which will not take much winning.
The form horses haven't achieved a great deal. Goodbye Earl has run in a couple of decent races but looks a big, lumbering two-year-old and he may be too easily outpaced and then struggle to get back on terms.
Look Whos Next is an interesting juvenile for Ed McMahon. He has a decent place rate for his juveniles on debut and is worthy of consideration. More of a watching horse for me today.
Take Ten cost 210,000 guineas and must be respected from this owner. Johnston has been sending out a few better sorts of late and this colt by Bahamian Bounty wouldn't need to be that classy to figure here.
A watching race.
Race review: 'This race looked to have some depth with the McMahon and Johnston unraced juveniles but neither figured and this came down to a two-horse race with Strike Shot beating Goodbye Earl by a neck. Muir's winner was very well backed and was a short price on debut when doing little. Berry's still looks rather lumbering but was never outpaced and was their team may be regretting that she didn't win today as this may be a poor contest, but time will tell.'
