I'll Have A Double Whopper
A nursery over 1m 60y on good to firm ground.

Not the most competitive heat for limited juveniles.

McVicar (HCE Dark Horse) must have fair claims over this extended trip. Mick Channon has a decent strike rate at the course and this bay colt is a good-looking type for this lowly grade. Things didn't fall for him at Kempton in a muddling race, which turned into a sprint. This son of Tobougg finished in determined style but ran out of time. This course should be more suiting and a fair each way bet.

Conclusion: Nurseries are never the easiest of races to assess. However, McVicar has enough ability to win a race and should go well today.

HCE: ''Hayley Turner gave Spirit Of The Law a nice waiting ride, which is the key to winning at this level, and ran on well to beat Takeitfromalady who had a slight lead at the two pole. Mcvicar finished well in third after either being unwilling or his young jockey just giving him far too much to do.''
