ME WITH MY NOCS & HAT
A Maiden Fillies' Stakes over 5f 216y.

I had intended to write an in-depth review for this juvenile contest. However, I will keep this short & sweet. There's no point padding things out when one horse catches the eye. Give Way Nelson hasn't been seen for over one hundred days. This bay daughter of Mount Nelson out of the winning mare Give A Whistle was fancied to go well on debut at Sandown when finishing third behind the talented Upward Spiral.  There were two things you could take away from that initial effort - the trip was too short & inexperience costly. This step up to 6f will be more suiting and if fancied in the betting will go well. Meehan's filly is still entered to run in the Cheveley Park Stakes (Group 1), which gives encouragement & potential for better. The most crucial pointer for this filly will be her starting price. This will be the difference between me betting or not. Don't ask me why this matters - I won't tell you. If fancied in the betting I would be very surprised if she wasn't placed with a fighting chance of the win. If priced 7/1 & less SP a great each way bet.

Conclusion: Give Way Nelson is a great each way bet if starting price of 7/1 & less.
