6:20 Wolverhampton (26th November) Horse Racing Tips/Result

A Maiden over 5f20y for colts & fillies. No time for waffle today - just going straight for the kill. Wild Sauce hasn't been seen since making her debut at Carlisle in the spring but firmly on my radar. A daughter of Exceed And Excel, she was relatively fancied that day but in need of the race. However, this bay showed enough promise - running on late - to suggest a win or two could come her way. The dam was a 5f winner and placed in Group company over 6f. Smart doesn't keep his two-year-olds for an all-weather winter campaign unless he has good reason and he will be expecting a big run today. A sterling each way chance if prices allow.

HCE: ''Twilight Allure - who raced for most of her career in France - was clearly set out to run a big race here. Backed from fancy odds - a good-looking juvenile, especially compare to Smart's youngster -she always held a slight advantage. Wild Sauce kept her company, the duo having far too much pace for the others, but wasn't best suited by running a touch wide and, perhaps, a little keen. She put down a challenge and for a stride or two looked to hold a chance, but Ryan's two-year-old maintained her stride, while Wild Sauce faltered and was caught for second by the Ambitious Icarus.''

Hi Clint,

I wonder if you received my email? Not doing too much. I'm in slo-mo this morning. I will take a look at the 2yo races at Wolverhampton. Have a win and place bet on Wild Sauce. Nothing too exciting going on to be fair. Just thinking about the world...lol.

Oh, perhaps I have an old email address or something. Send me an email to jason_coote2000@yahoo.co.uk and then I will know that's the one. I just said something about the two-year-old races.

:-)

Morning mate, hows you today...? , that wild sauce race was bad for racing as it had " bent " written all over it , Ryans Horse backed in from 33/1 > 8/1 , is only rated 48 and had no discernible form yet scoots in after monster gamble landed...hmmm

Hi Clint,

Yes, it was a funny one, hey. For a filly it looked a fair horse: a strong type. Smart's filly looked pretty small and lightly built compare to that. I didn't really notice it was backed until after the race but the Ryan's gambles are often telling. They clearly expected a big run and Amy Ryan seemed particularly happy with the success. Any other day of the week Smart's would have won...but it had no chance against that beast.
