2:20 Kempton (18th November) Horse Racing Tips/Result

A Maiden Auction Stakes over 5f. Kyleakin Lass has progressed with each race and just lost out last time at Leicester over 6f. Ian Woods is a talented trainer and he will have this daughter of Kyllachy primed for a big run today. She should take all the beating. Lady Gibraltar has been placed on a number of occasions in her seven races so far. In fairness, this daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar has shown good form and would have probably won if not for her wayward decencies.

For all the world, she looked to hold a winning chance last time at Kempton over 6f. However, inch by inch her lead was slowly eroded and to her backers' dismay was caught on the line. Whether this drop to the minimum distance will see that pace blunted is a matter of opinion. The main worry about this juvenile is simply the fact that there is always a reason why she gets beat. Perhaps today will bring a belated victory, but I would favour Kyleakin Lass.

It is difficult to assess the Irish raider, Nini Oak. However, after running over 7f last time she may be outpaced and probably reason for the blinkers being applied.

Red Socks has shown ability on one or two starts but another who seems to be regressing and probably better in plating class.

HCE: ''The Irish raider, Nini Oak, took advantage of what turned out to be a tactical race. Held up off the pace, this bay filly showed a determined style to run on and beat the two leaders without too much fuss. For the fairer sex, Murphy's representative has size and scope to progress with racing. Kyleakin Lass had few problems leaving Lady Gibraltar behind, but was helped by Jarvis' running a touch wide in her normal awkward fashion. The second would have been much better suited by more waiting tactics.''

Kyleakin Lass for me , just cannot see past this have watched all the races and im not convinced the irish runner is upto much tbh , was leg weary at the 5f marker last time and i think a strongly run race will do em all in , that aside , its a very busy day with some great racing to peruse over , have a cracking day mate, chat later.

Hi Clint,

Can't say I have too much interest in the race in ways but will be watching as always. I'm not really keen on betting at short odds. Will be keeping an eye on your card. Good luck.

Hi Clint,

It was a funny old race. Jarvis' horse looks one of those who will always struggle with one thing or another. Woods wasn't helped by being pushed wide but the Irish horse played the tactical game by finishing the race, which is always a key pointer at a lowly grade. I found the best bet: laying Red Socks...lol.
