1:45 Lingfield (29th November) Horse Racing Tips/Result

A 0-85 Nursery over 1m. The only two-year-old race of the day. Tones is a likable colt who has never been out of the first three in his career of five starts. After an easy win at Epsom, his first venture at handicap level was a much tougher affair. However, this son of Strategic Prince showed gritty determination to hold all comers in a tight finish. Whether this extra furlong will help is a matter of opinion.

But one thing you can be sure is that Hannon's juvenile is in flying form and in a race where many are taking a step up in class or out of form has a big chance.

Emmuska is another representative for the Hannon's and by all accounts a talented horse. Two wins from five races proves this daughter of Sir Percy has a leading chance after pipping Koko Loca.

Yesterday's winner, Masters Club, has hit a rich vein of form with consecutive wins. However, progressing from Selling class to a fair nursery is never going to be easy. Ryan Powell takes the ride helping negate most of the extra weight, which is sound reasoning. This gelding is in good form but I would have concerns this higher grade will be find him out.

Singalat & Abshir Zain are both out of form.

Conclusion: This could well be a battle of Hannon's colt and filly. Both are fair juveniles and if pressed I would choose Tones.

HCE: ''Richard Hannon held the aces here with Emmuska holding Tones with a little left up her sleeve.''

Hi Clint,

You are probably right that Tones might not stay. Can't say I reviewed the race to a great extent as its not one I would really bet myself. Some races just don't really interest me and with it being the only two-year-old race I had one option...lol. Interesting to watch. Yes, you can forward your info about your FB. I don't really chat to many people about racing because it's a waste of time but I do enjoy conserving with sensible who actually have something being a cliche...lol.I like someone with something original to say. No the same old rubbish you hear on Channel 4. I won't say much but if I do suggest a selection it will go well. :-)

Oh yes, I'm working on a new website and updating my trainer profiles. Next trainer to get under my giant microscope is Mark Johnston. See if I can make any sense out of him...lol.
