Chapple-Hyam: ''Another Smart Juvenile''

Royal Ascot Bound?

Samminder looked another smart juvenile for Peter Chapple-Hyam when winning on debut over 6f at Yarmouth yesterday afternoon.

The son of Red Ransom was sent off the evens favourite having shown plenty of ability on the gallops at home.

He was very professional in the hands of William Buick who settled him in behind runners in the early stages.

Samminder relaxed well and moved strongly throughout. Buick switched to make his move wide of the other runners and once in the open his mount picked up impressively to kick away and score by nearly three lengths.

Being by Red Ransom out of a Cadeaux Genereux mare he is sure to improve with time.
