We are at Windsor tonight for Lord of the Shadow, who found one too good last week, and Richard is hopeful that the Kyllachy colt will justify favouritism.

He said:"That looked a decent maiden last week - both Paul Cole's winner and the third (Barry Hills) were fancied, and our fellow did nothing wrong, so with luck we ought to go one better."

The first day of Newmarket's Craven meeting looks like being busy for us, and, running his eyes over our declared runners for Wednesday, Richard added:"Tell Dad has been going well and should go close in the two-year-old race which we won with Retainer 12 months ago. Tell Dad is out of Don't Tell Mum, who is a very fast racemare for us, and it looks as if she has inherited some of that speed.

He said:"It was good to see Lord of the Shadows get the two-year-olds rolling at Windsor on Monday - he could now go on to Chester - and, hopefully, Tea Cup will go well in the fillies maiden at Newmarket on Thursday. She has pleased me at home and looks nice.
