2:35 Curragh (20th March)

Fahey Has First Two-year-old runner at the Curragh.

Richard Fahey

Richard Fahey tried to sneak under the radar with his first two-year-old running at the Curragh earlier this afternoon. Lost City, a colt by Elusive City, owned by Sir Alex Ferguson and Jack Hanson, was all the rage and backed to 8/11 but finished a bitter disappointment when last of the five runners. Ridden by Paul Hanagan, the colt was tardy from the stalls and looked green, fading in the final two furlongs to trail home in his own time. This 50,000gns yearling was clearly expected to show more for this EBF maiden worth over  €12,000 to the winner. First past the post, Tough As Nails, wandered across the course hampering Whip Rule who was awarded the race in the stewards' room.

Hi Jason

I sense a certain blogger chopping at the bit (so to speak).

Not long now mate and you will be fully in your element.

Good luck with the coming season and I look forward to the free tips.

Mark
