1:55 Epsom (6th June)

The Woodcote Listed race is always a fascinating event over this dashing 6f where a low draw is a big advantage.

This looks quite an open race with a number of talented juveniles but no guaranteed classy type.

Walkingonthemoon ran well at Pontefract last time and would be of interest from a lower draw. Drawn ten is something of a stumbling block and it is all too easy to be many lengths off the pace in the first furlong.

Fratellino is all speed and will probably hare off and try to cling on to a lead.

To be honest, I couldn't even imagine who would win this race. A tricky event at the best of times and a number of these have something to prove and set a similar level of ability.

A watching race.

Race review: 'The normal cavelry charge with Red Avalanche and Fratellino leading for most and running excellent races. Walkingonthemoon was settled just of the pace and made his move and looked for a good while to have a winning lead until Corporal Maddox ran on in fine style to collar Dascombe's juvenile close home. A tricky race for many of these to contend and a race where many where made to look much worse that they are.'
