A very restricted auction maiden for colts and fillies over this turning 6f where a low draw may be advantageous.
Experience counts for a lot on a turning track and the unraced have to prove they are better than their small price tags.
The majority of the form horses look limited, which isn't too surprising in this type of race. Any Day finished second in a poor race last time but that may be enough to run a fair race here. The third, Forget, was beaten on her next start at Warwick, which doesn't add to the form. Any Day is a much speedier juvenile though and should be handy for a good way but may struggle to finish.
Avec Moi has shown a glimmer of ability and this is probably her level. Drawn eleven is not a good starting point and a negative.
Soul Heaven will probably be all the rage here. This colt is a lovely-looking sort and he ran what seemed to be a great race on debut without being given a hard time - in fact hardly pushed when slightly hampered at the end. Bell's juvenile will look the part and clearly won't get a better chance that this to win. Reddy To Star boosted the form with a good run but Flapjack disappointed at Goodwood. I do like this horse and if he has any ability he will win this.
I'Malwaysright ran second to an easy winner at Lingfield but what that form amounts to is a matter of debate. Elsworth's juvenile can improve a good deal for their first run and may figure.
A low class race with a number of form horses trying to gain their first win. It wouldn't take much for an unraced colt or filly to win this although I would have to go with Soul Heaven as he looks the part and most likely to have attained the best form of these.

Southwark Newshank has improved with each run and the form of its last race certainly looks to be solid. It is likely to improve with this step up in trip. From a low draw against weak and unrace opposition it may gain a favourable position early and could have the speed to hold it to the line.
Race review: 'Not a very competitve race and Bell's good-looking colt ran outa tidy winner. Balding's first timer, Cool Valentine, ran well and Any Day appreciated this level with a decent third place.'
