A maiden race over the extended 5f for colts and one filly.

Barzan seemingly ran a creditable race on debut, beaten by the impressive Canford Cliffs. With very few form horses as a guide it is somewhat difficult to assess the merit of that performance other than thinking the winner is very good. This relatively expensive breeze-up purchase will have experience on his side and should take some beating.

Midnight Uno is an attractive sort but his form looks pretty ordinary and having been entered to run in a selling/claiming race doesn't add to the chances of attaining any great ability.

Of the others Dubawi Phantom and the filly Hairspray are both from stables capable of winning a race on debut although they will need to be fit and ready.

Barzan is the obvious choice but not easy to assess and may be vulnerable at a short price.

A watching race.
